🎩 Meet Artur!

If you’ve been following my little Meowy world over on Instagram or read The Adventure Letter – Issue 2 (December 2025), you may already know him: Artur, Europe’s no.1 hat collector, king of the long bois, and the unexpected sausage-shaped landlord who rules an 18th century villa in Florence. This month's wallet-buddy and sticker is Artur himself, and I like to think that his little santa outfit are his pjs! So cosy and cuddly for the month of December!

Artur is a long boi of pure character. He knows every cobblestone in Florence like an old friend and every sunny corner of the villa’s garden. He struts, sniffs, surveys and supervises. Flowers? Inspected. Doors? Opened for him. Humans? At his service. He is the embodiment of independence and yet, beneath all of that royal sausage swagger, he carries the softest, biggest heart.

In real life, I met Artur while living in that old villa. He was always somewhere: sun-bathing beneath ancient trees, strolling in and out of apartments like he owned the place (because, honestly, he did), or barking loudly at absolutely nothing except perhaps the universe itself. In the Meowy world, he is hosting cake sales, running vegetable competitions, sipping amaro on his balcony as the golden sun sets behind terracotta rooftops. A true icon!

Artur loves hats. Big hats! Small hats! Fancy hats! ALL HATS! Hats that express exactly what he’s feeling on the inside (since he is, of course, a doggo of very few words). 

IMAGINE THIS: You're sitting in the warm sunlight, listening to a chill christmasy playlist (🎧 Click here to this month's latest playlist on Spotify!) a coffee in hand, and Artur would trot past your window like he was checking on his “tenants.” Sometimes he’d poke his head into your apartment uninvited, inspecting your rubbish bin with deep scholarly interest. Sometimes he’d bark until someone carried him outside. Sometimes he’d do nothing at all except nap in the sunshine like a little loaf of ciabatta. That cheeky old sausage!

I hope we can all channel our own inner Artur this month!
